About

The Faculty of Education is dedicated to providing high-quality, practical, and innovative teacher training and educational programs. The faculty prepares students to meet the evolving needs of schools, educational institutions, and society at large.

Graduates develop strong pedagogical knowledge, instructional skills, and professional competence, enabling them to contribute effectively to teaching, curriculum development, educational leadership, and community learning initiatives. Most of the students who have graduated from this faculty are today serving as teachers and lecturers in schools and universities across Somalia.

Working closely with other faculties, the Faculty of Education fosters ethical leadership, social responsibility, and innovative thinking, equipping students to apply educational principles to real-world challenges and promote positive societal development.

Message from the Dean

Welcome to the Faculty of Education at East Africa University. Our faculty is dedicated to preparing the next generation of educators, researchers, and leaders who will shape the future of education in Somalia and beyond.

We offer a wide range of programs in Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and related fields, combining strong theoretical foundations with practical experience. Our students gain hands-on laboratory training, teaching practicums, and research opportunities that equip them with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to excel in classrooms and educational leadership roles.
