Memorandum Of Understanding Between KIU and EAU

On 01 December 2021, we have signed an MOU with Kampala International University, Uganda, in Kampala. The MoU aims to promote the development of scientific, technical, and cultural relations and academic cooperation, particularly in postgraduate studies, research and internship, and staff exchange. Exchanges will be from any applicable branch of learning and research.

For East Africa University (EAU) was signed by Prof Dr Abdisalam Issa-Salwe, the Vice-Chancellor with tutor Hassan Hussein Ahmed, the Head of Research and Development (EAU Branch, Qardho). Tutor Hassan was also the coordinator of the operation.

Our representatives have visited KIU Western Campus at Busenyi, and they found many buildings with very extensive scientific labs, machines and modern learning technologies which would facilitate student research and learning.

Prof. Mouhamad Mpezamihigo said, “We are delighted to host the Vice-Chancellor East Africa University in Puntland Somalia, Dr Abdisalam Issa-Salwe, the world in which we are required to collaborate but not compete, and this is one of the landmarks,” He added, “Out of this agreement, we should be able to produce many more collaborations, partnerships, and joint research projects,’’
